Police Rescue 17 Children, Arrest Three in Kaduna

The Kaduna State, police operatives have arrested three suspected child traffickers and rescued 17 children.

This was contain in a statement by DSP Mansir Hassan, Police Spokesman, he said that the operation followed credible intelligence on the movement of children under the Danmagaji Flyover in Zaria on 12 November.

The police spokesman says all rescued children are reported to be in good health and are currently under police care, while efforts continue to reunite them with their families.

Meanwhile Commissioner of police Kaduna state Rabiu Muhammad appreciated the officers for their swift action and reiterated a zero-tolerance policy for child trafficking and exploitation. He also advised parents to remain alert and report suspicious activities within their communities.

These operations in Kaduna state illustrate ongoing efforts by Nigerian police forces to combat both violent crime and human trafficking, demonstrating the critical role of intelligence-led policing and community cooperation in restoring public safety.
