Insecurity: President Tinubu Advised To Issue a Year

As the spate of insecurity lingers in Nigeria with the attendants loss of innocent lives, President Bola Tinubu has been advised to Issues a one year ultimatum of security Chiefs in the Country to stamp out the menace or face sanction.

 

The Chairman of the West Africa Joint Task Force, Prof. Muhammed Kilani made the appeal in Abuja while speaking shortly after he received the Certificate of partnership from the office of Special Envoy of West Africa International Human Rights Protection Service.

 

 

Prof. Kilani disclosed that Nigerians are tired of incessant loss of innocent lives adding that the President should not just leave them alone but should keep them on their toes within one year. He called on the Security Agencies in the country to turn a new leave noting that there should be no division while he assured them of the constant support of the civilian Joint Task Force.

 

Prof. Kilani assured Nigerian that the Civilian Joint Task Force will continue to do its best at all times with the application of discipline noting that the Force will continue to expand its scope of operation towards building a strong and virile West Africa.

 

On his part, the Chairman West Africa Joint Task Force Charles Omini, called on security to engage more of advanced technology to combat insecurity noting that with technology the task of securing the country will be better achieved. Highpoint of the event was the presentation of Certificate of Partnership to the New Chairman of the West Africa Civilian Joint Task Force.
